Heat & Serve Onsite

Entice participation with the wonderful smells of fresh-cooked meals without extensive prep work. If your site has cold storage and a traditional oven or a self-contained Cook & Hold unit, this mode of service is perfect for you.  We provide:

  • Commodities Management, if applicable
  • Menu Planning (6-week rotation)
  • Food Prep
  • Delivery of all meal items the day before service
  • Serving Staff, if needed
  • Ongoing Training
  • USDA Administrative Review Support, if applicable
  • A Dedicated Client Services Manager

 

 

Day-of Delivery

If your site has limited cooking and storage capabilities, CKC Good Food can provide meals right when you need them. Under this service model, we provide:

Schools participating in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs turn to CKC Good Food for vended meal service or food service management adhering to the USDA's guidelines. CKC Good Food delivers true value with multiple 6-week rotations of chef-created, USDA-compliant menus and extensive operational support to ensure compliance and smooth operations.

Private Food Service Programs

With our help, private food service providers, including private/parochial schools, residential care facilities, corporate campuses and summer camps, can create dynamic, multifaceted food service programs with broad appeal.  We operate many clients' onsite kitchens, and welcome the opportunity to be your full-service, in-house food service provider. Whether staffed by your food service professionals or CKC Good Food, your private food service program will flourish with our help.

Child Care Centers

Even the youngest of taste buds love our kid-friendly food. We serve many CACFP and private day care centers, including HEADSTART Programs, faith-based preschools, preK school programs, and multi-site, child care centers. Our age-appropriate meals spark young children's interest in a wide variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, and culturally diverse entrees. Our CACFP menus offer 6-week rotations with daily hot, cold and vegetarian options as well as an allergen-free menu.

CACFP Non-School Programs

CKC Good Food helps meet the nutritional needs of youth and vulnerable adult populations through out-of-school programs, adult day care, summer camps and more. If your nonprofit organization would like to offer meals under federally reimbursed programs but may not have the resources to manage a program entirely on your own, contact us to explore partnering with another sponsor.
