Hiawatha Academies is a network of tuition-free public charter schools in Minneapolis's Northrop and Seward neighborhoods. CKC Good Food is proud to be the food service partner to Hiawatha's three schools, which combined serve students from kindergarten to 12th grade. At the Ruth O. Benner Community Center in St. Paul’s Rondo neighborhood, CKC Good Food operates a commissary that preps and serves meals at 10 Head Start locations and one childcare center scattered around Saint Paul. The program, operated by the Community Action Partnership of Ramsey and Washington Counties, serves infants, toddlers and children under age 5 from low-income families. All told, CKC Good Food's Head Start team of 11 provides 730 hot lunches and 638 breakfast and snacks daily, Monday through Friday! Let's meet the team!

With extensive knowledge about CKC Good Food's vendors, products and systems that he has gained in multiple jobs at CKC Good Food, Warehouse Manager Justin Kilmer has accepted the additional role of Procurement Manager.

Joel Wight, Commissary Kitchen Manager, and Chris Olson, Cold Prep/Driver Manager, oversee production of thousands of meals daily in our central commissary.
