The USDA Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP) provides a variety of wonderful fresh produce to eligible elementary schools for free. The deadline to apply is April 14.
The USDA's Fresh Fruits and Vegetables Program is a great way for eligible schools to introduce students to a variety of fresh produce and increase their consumption of unprocessed fruits and vegetables. CKC client schools already participating the program have found it to be easy to implement and welcomed by students and staff.
