The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) requires a Certified Food Manager (CFM) at each school site or one CFM per 10 satellite feeding sites. ServSafe®, a National Restaurant Association training program that teaches, and confirms knowledge of, food safety protocols, meets the requirements for MDH's Food Manager Certification.
CKC Good Food General Manger Laurie Yohn, SNS, DTR, a certified ServSafe Instructor and Proctor, will lead a ServSafe class for CKC employees and clients' food service staffs.

Plan to arrive by 7:45 AM; late arrivals cannot attend class and fees are non-refundable. There will be a 30-minute lunch break. CKC Good Food will be providing lunch at no charge to attendees.

Upon receipt of your registration and payment for full certification, CKC Good Food will order you a textbook (English and Spanish textbooks are available). It takes approximately 3 weeks to receive textbooks from ServSafe. Upon receiving your book, we encourage you to study it and take the chapter quizzes. Those who do so have demonstrated a higher rate of passing the exam. The instructor will not be covering every chapter in the book. Please do NOT remove the test sheet or use your test sheet.
