CKC Good Food tailors our services to each client partner, based on available space, equipment, facilities, storage and goals of an individual program. Whether we fully manage your kitchen or provide fresh hot meals in time for service, CKC Good Food works together with you to achieve your program's goals.

CKC Good Food has years of experience serving client partners in a variety of ways. While we serve the highest volume of client sites through day-of delivery, a large percentage of our meals are actually heated onsite at our client sites. We have helped many client partners expand their capabilities and improve the quality of their food service program by heating onsite.

Regardless of the method of service, we provide every client partner a six-week menu rotation full of variety and extensive "back office" support to simplify the management of your food service program.

Modes of Operation

Full Onsite Operations

Managing an onsite fully licensed kitchen is a big responsibility that many schools and organizations trust to the experts at CKC Good Food. Our years of experience and time-tested processes ensure an efficient kitchen that serves up meals that inspire joyful eaters. In kitchens we fully manage, we often tailor our menus to the preferences of those served. When we manage an onsite kitchen, we generally provide:

  • Staffing
  • Training
  • Procurement/Inventory
  • Menu Planning
  • Food Prep
  • Service
  • Daily Food Production Records
  • Maintaining kitchen cleanliness

Our services for onsite kitchens are provided under the terms of individual contracts, which vary by client partner. 

Heat & Serve Onsite

Many client partners have come to realize the benefits and ease of heating their daily meals onsite. This method of service provides the wonderful smells of fresh-cooked meals without extensive preparation. If your site has a walk-in cooler or ample refrigeration and space for a self-contained cook & hold unit, you could heat meals onsite. Rarely is an exhaust hood is needed! If this method works for your site, your daily meal service through CKC Good Food would entail:

  • Meals prepped at our commissary
  • All meal items delivered the day before service and stored in your refrigerated unit
  • Meals heated onsite the day of service
  • Meals served by your staff or ours

This service mode is generally best suited for sites providing 100+ meals daily.

Day-of Delivery

If your site has limited cooking and storage capacity, CKC Good Food can provide meals right when you need them. We will:

  • Prep meals at our commissary
  • Deliver all the meal components ready-to-serve to your site(s) prior to meal time
  • Provide portion guides and service instructions to your staff

This service mode is generally best suited for sites providing 50+ meals daily.
